The Memphis Center for Urban Theological Studies (MCUTS) is a fascinating ministry created through a partnership between Memphis Leadership Foundation, Hope Christian Community Foundation, Neighborhood Christian Centers, Second and Hope Presbyterian Churches and Crichton College. MCUTS offers practical theological and doctrinal training and education to Christian leaders who may not have access to biblical education and who serve in Memphis’ urban and inner-city communities.

Hope Christian Community Foundation exists to serve Mid-South donors and ministries to facilitate the building of God's kingdom in our community and throughout the world. Our mission is to encourage philanthropy and increase giving. We seek transformation of the city through churches and ministries that combine Christian faith and Christian action.
Since 1998, Hope has helped hundreds of donors send $120+ million to 800+ ministries, churches and various charities. Over 80% of this was given to non-profits in Memphis and the Mid-South area. Over 75% of the recipients were faith-based non-profits who primarily serve educational or other needs of youth. Our purpose is to assist donors as they serve the Lord in their giving.

The CCF Capacity Building Project reflects the administration's recognition that faith-based and community organizations are uniquely situated to partner with the government in serving under-resourced and low-income individuals and families, particularly those with the greatest needs. It is Memphis Leadership Foundation’s goal to empower non-profit organizations to increase their effectiveness, enhance their ability to provide holistic services in under-served communities, expand their organizational capacity, diversify their funding sources, and create collaborations to better serve those in need.
