We'd like to extend a special thanks to our committed golfers with the fortitude to take on the 100-hole challenge and raise (through pledges, $1,000 as an individual player or $2000 for a team of four players, in support of the Memphis Leadership Foundation or one it's programs. 

What is the Ironman?

An exciting event where each individual or team plays 100 holes of golf in a day.  (Teams members combine for the 100 holes, playing only at a time.)

Why?

To raise funds for Memphis Leadership Foundation and its family of ministries which are dedicated to developing programs that address the most pressing needs in under-served communities in Memphis

Empowerment Program

 

A Ministry of Memphis Leadership Foundation

The Refugee Empowerment Program (REP) exists to address the needs and concerns of the refugee population of Memphis, Tennessee through empowerment programs such as; tutoring, adult literacy, cultural adjustment, citizenship preparation classes, health services coordination, student advocacy, and job advocacy. Economic Opportunities   

A Ministry of Memphis Leadership Foundation

Economic Opportunities (EcOp) is a business venture equipped to provide "hard to place" individuals with employment, personal attention and intensive care.  Program participants are invited to join daily prayer, devotions and weekly Bible Studies to encourage Christian values and strong work ethics.  Participation in these activities is voluntary and is not a condition for receiving program services. Act Six Leadership and Scholarship Initiative

For the Campus. For the City. For the Future.

Act Six is a leadership and scholarship initiative of the Memphis Leadership Foundation and Crichton College that equips emerging urban leaders to engage the college campus and their communities at home.

 The 2008 Act Six Cadre 4 Scholars are:

  • Nina Mendonca – Home Life Academy

  • Lakeesha Osborne – Booker T. Washington

  • Paul Rogers – East High School
